The premise of my animation project was a food coma in which I felt like many people have been in the same situation after consuming a large amount of food. I wanted the story to follow a food baby that was personified while in the digestive track, and make it like a video game of sorts. I wanted the story to follow the development of the character as they embarked on a journey through the system, and ultimately their battle with the final boss. My initial idea had more action frames from the beginning and especially in the battle with the boss (my head jig saw like style). I thought for what I produced it was funny and the vision was clear, but since I have creator bias I feel that it did not translate the same for all the viewers. This could have been combatted with an earlier start to the animation process and more developed transitions and symbolism to help guide the viewer. The major critique of this work was the inconsistent sound, which I had thought was uniform, but evidently was all over the place making it hard to fully enjoy the work without constantly adjusting the sound bar. If I had infinite (more) time to work on this project I would have added more editing bit to the shot videos and refined the animations to make the story more tageble. Over all I had fun with the project and I am excited to see what happens next with my “Dream Works” career (lol).
