In my art, I strive to bring a playful nature to somewhat serious ideas, and through an ever-growing perspective I wish to share my experiences in life through visualizations. My greatest inspiration is my adopted grandmother who originally taught me how to paint, but since has been my biggest supporter in any medium I wish to pursue. She would often give me little assignments to do to keep my mind busy while challenging me to use prompts to create my work. Since I was young, doodling small characters in my notebooks has kept my mind calm and open to what tedious lectures I had to endure. In digital art II, I hope to expand my knowledge of software in 3D modeling to properly model the biological structures I wish to visualize. I wish to create things I find interesting and silly, and doing so brings join to my life and helps refine skills that I can translate to professional applications. As I try to secure a degree in a rigorous science I use art as an escape, but also a grounding point to refocus on what is important to me. Although I am somewhat of a late bloomer to the art practice world I have been enrolled in courses since grade school since I was 6. This upbringing truly formed my ideas around art, and the creative process has helped me far beyond that of a studio. I hope the portfolio on this site will reach those who resonate with my art, and I hope to have some sort of impact on someone in this lifetime.
